I thought blogs were lame. Then I got lame, so I'm cool with blogs. But "blog" still rhymes with "pog," which I thought was a silly hobby back in the day. Anyhoo, here's my novice attempt at lameness.
arigato gozaimasu, unagi, tempura unagi, tiny kids with black bobs, tiny adults with rickets and bicycles with baskets, 4-wheel drive soccer mom vehicles, working ungodly hours in camouflage, etc
I'm a white girl in Japan. I didn't ask to be here, but despite my inner cynic, I'm trying "to make the best of it." Or whatever. I am certainly a fan of the eccentric, and there's no shortage of at least relative weirdness here. I've decided that maybe sometimes I'll use my lonely nights after work to make an attempt to share my life in a rural northern Japanese town called Misawa. Prepare to be awed.
